Content Creator & Copywriter

About the Role

Create compelling written and visual content for our specialty chemicals brand. This fully remote role is ideal for creative individuals with strong writing instincts who are eager to learn the chemicals industry and translate technical information into accessible, engaging copy. No prior industry experience needed — we will provide onboarding and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Write blog posts, website copy, product descriptions, and customer case studies
• Develop scripts and storyboards for short-form product explainer videos
• Collaborate with the social media team on content calendars and post copy
• Edit and proofread marketing materials for grammar, tone, and brand alignment
• Research specialty chemicals topics and translate findings into engaging non-technical content
• Repurpose long-form content into social snippets, email blurbs, and infographics
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written materials

Requirements

• Strong written communication skills with a portfolio of samples (personal, academic, or professional)
• Self-motivated, creative, and comfortable working independently with periodic feedback
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or similar word processing tools
• Ability to research unfamiliar topics quickly and write clearly about them
• No prior chemicals or industry experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing
• Experience writing for B2B, technical, or regulated industries
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and keyword-driven content writing
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar
