About the Role
Be the first point of contact for our customers — answering inquiries, processing requests, and ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint. This entry-level, fully remote role is a great way to begin a career in specialty chemicals sales and customer success. Full product and process training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via email and phone promptly and professionally
- Assist customers with order status, product availability, sample requests, and shipping information
- Escalate complex technical or pricing questions to the sales or R&D team as appropriate
- Log all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system
- Process sample requests and coordinate with the logistics team for fulfillment
- Follow up with customers on open inquiries and ensure resolution within agreed timeframes
- Support the sales team with quote preparation, order documentation, and data entry
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help customers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced remote environment
- Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, web browsers)
- No prior chemicals industry experience required — full training provided
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
- Prior customer service, call centre, or administrative experience
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Interest in specialty chemicals, life sciences, or manufacturing
