About the Role

Be the first point of contact for our customers — answering inquiries, processing requests, and ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint. This entry-level, fully remote role is a great way to begin a career in specialty chemicals sales and customer success. Full product and process training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via email and phone promptly and professionally
  • Assist customers with order status, product availability, sample requests, and shipping information
  • Escalate complex technical or pricing questions to the sales or R&D team as appropriate
  • Log all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system
  • Process sample requests and coordinate with the logistics team for fulfillment
  • Follow up with customers on open inquiries and ensure resolution within agreed timeframes
  • Support the sales team with quote preparation, order documentation, and data entry

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help customers
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, web browsers)
  • No prior chemicals industry experience required — full training provided

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Prior customer service, call centre, or administrative experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Interest in specialty chemicals, life sciences, or manufacturing
