HR Coordinator

About the Role
Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks including recruitment coordination, employee records management, onboarding, and benefits administration. This fully remote role is ideal for someone starting their HR career or transitioning into the field. Full training is provided — we value initiative and a people-first mindset over a lengthy resume.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Assist with new hire onboarding including preparation of materials, system access setup, and orientation
- Process HR documentation including offer letters, employment contracts, and benefits enrollment forms
- Support payroll coordination with the Finance team for new hires and changes
- Respond to employee HR inquiries in a timely, confidential, and supportive manner
- Help organize virtual company events, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional, empathetic tone
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion
- No prior HR experience required — we will train the right candidate
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology
- Prior administrative, coordinator, or office support experience
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, Workday, or ADP
- HR certification coursework (SHRM-CP, aPHR) or progress toward a certification
