About the Role

Entry-level remote role managing social media channels for our specialty chemicals brand. You will create engaging content, schedule posts, monitor community interactions, and help build our online presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram. No prior industry experience required — we will train you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions and respond in a timely, professional manner
  • Develop and maintain monthly content calendars in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Support digital campaigns for product launches, trade shows, and company milestones
  • Track engagement metrics and prepare weekly performance summaries
  • Research trending topics in specialty chemicals and adjacent industries for content ideas
  • Coordinate with the content and design team to produce graphics and short-form video assets

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree a plus
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for grammar and brand consistency
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram as a user
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics (likes, reach, impressions)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and home office setup

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later)
  • Prior experience managing a brand or personal page with measurable growth
  • Interest in science, manufacturing, or B2B industries
